A 47-year-old man has been arrested followed an incident on High Street.
Police were contacted around noon Thursday after receiving a report of an injured man, who may have been the victim of an assault.
He was taken to hospital by paramedics and remains hospitalized.
A suspect was located nearby and taken into custody.
He has been charged with aggravated assault and appeared in court today on the charges.
He has been released with conditions.
