Thunder Bay Police make three child porn arrests

The Thunder Bay Police say they have made three arrests in connection with three separate child pornography investigations.

The Cyber Crime unit arrested a 20-year-old yesterday and they appeared in court after learning he solicited and sent nude images.

He’s been charged with luring a child, possession of child pornography and making sexually explicit material available to a child.

Another investigation dates back to the end February when police seized a number of electronic devices.

The TBPS say it led to evidence being found that the suspect had solicited nude images from female youth.

A 25-year-old man turned himself into police and has been charged with luring a child, possession of child pornography, accessing and distributing child porn.

The other incident involved a local internet user who was suspected of sharing child sexual abuse material.

A 44-year-old man has been arrested after several electronic devices were seized back in April.

He’s been charged with Possession of Child Pornography, Accessing Child Pornography, and Distributing Child Pornography.
