The Thunder Bay OPP is investigating a fatal collision that closed Highway 102 for a couple of hours late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
Police says the accident involved a tractor trailer unit and a pickup truck near the Strawberry Creek Bridge in Kaministiquia.
The collision took place just before midnight on Saturday.
The driver of the pick-up was pronounced dead at the scene, and a passenger in the vehicle was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center for treatment of their injuries.
According to the Ministry of Transportation Highway 102 was reopened around 11:00 this morning.
