One person has died, and two others were seriously injured in a crash on Highway 17 east of Terrace Bay.
Ontario Provincial Police say emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle collision just after 6:20 p.m. Monday.
Two individuals were taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with serious injuries.
The OPP’s North West Region Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team and Technical Collision Reconstruction specialists are assisting with the investigation.
Highway 17 was closed in the area of the crash for several hours but has since reopened.
