Seven people are facing charges after a drug trafficking investigation in Thunder Bay.
On Tuesday officers searched homes on Windsor Street and Picton Avenue.
Suspected cocaine, fentanyl, and cash were seized from both homes and a gun was also found.
A 24-year-old from North York, a 53-year-old from Thunder Bay, a 28-year-old from North York, and a 22-year-old from North York are facing the following charges:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl)
- Possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000
- Careless storage of a firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Knowledge of possession of an unauthorized firearm
The 22-year-old from North York was also charged with breach of a release order and breach of undertaking.
A 19-year-old from North York, a 19-year-old from Toronto, and a 44-year-old from Thunder Bay are facing the following charges:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl)
- Possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000
The 44-year-old was also charged with breach of a release order.
The accused appeared in court on Wednesday and they remain in custody with future court dates.
