No injuries in a morning fire on Northern Avenue.

Fire rescue was sent to a home after receiving reports of a fire at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

The homeowner tried to extinguish the fire before crews arrived, but they were unsuccessful.

Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control.

Fire rescue is reminding residents that a working smoke detector is required by law.
