The provincial police in Nipigon are warning residents about expected traffic delays on Highway 11 north of Nipigon.
On January 12 officers responded to a commercial truck that had crashed through a guard rail and came to a stop on the ice on Reflection Lake.
The truck broke through the ice the following morning.
Removal of the submerged truck is starting on Wednesday and the work is expected to last two to three days.
A temporary bypass will be put in place to allow alternating flow of traffic during the removal.
