The Ontario Liberal Party has selected its candidate for Thunder Bay-Atikokan.
Stephen Margarit is running to be the MPP for that riding.
He joins Thunder Bay City Councillor Brian Hamilton who was announced as the candidate for Thunder Bay-Superior North.
Margarit is the president of the riding association in the area he is running.
He is also the Foundation Coordinator for George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation.
“After almost 7 years of Doug Ford, residents of Thunder Bay-Atikokan are struggling. Whether it’s health care, education, housing or the cost of living, our friends and neighbours are falling behind, while wealthy insiders are reaping the benefits,” said Margarit. “It’s time for a government focused on making life more affordable by investing in people and the services they rely on.”
He will be up against conservative incumbent Kevin Holland.
