Thunder Bay’s police are investigating an assault that left two people injured.
Around 3:00 a.m. on October 27, officers received reports that two people had been assaulted by a suspect with an edged weapon.
A man and woman were walking when they were attacked by a male suspect on the sidewalk on Bay Street.
Both victims were sent to a local hospital for treatment.
Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
The suspect is described as an Indigenous man between the ages of 25 and 40, standing approximately 6’0″ tall with a medium build, and has distinctive upper canine teeth that point up and out.
He was wearing a grey or dark-coloured hoodie with a red or burgundy backpack.
