The McKellar Bridge connecting Thunder Bay to Mission Island is set for a brief closure.
The bridge is closing on Thursday evening around 8:00 p.m., so contractors can continue to the next step in the construction process.
During the closure, vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists will not be able to use the bridge.
The city is asking that residents plan ahead to avoid being stuck while not being able to travel to and from the island.
The bridge is expected to re-open around 4:00 a.m. on Friday.
