Did you know: last year, the 32 teams in the National Hockey League generated a revenue of just over $20 billion. So, when you hear of teams helping the less fortunate……….you have to be thankful.
The FLORIDA PANTHERS is a great example. Last week, the Panthers partnered with a health insurance company / and a non-profit company to feed hungry residents in the area. It was their “Goals For Good” partnership…….which will see the organization donate 650 meals for every goal scored throughout the season at every home game! Harvest Drive is the organization that coordinates the meals / and distribution. Last year, the Panthers scored 168 goals…….which saw them donate over 100,000 meals. This year, they’re already at over 26,000 meals and counting.
