TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD!

4 times a day, Danny brings you “TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD”. Danny shares ‘good news stories’ / ‘feel good stories’…kind of like your ‘daily dose of optimism’. You can hear it weekdays at 6:35am / 9:10am / 1:10pm / 4:35pm.

Here’s one from TODAY:

Today’s ‘good news story’ comes from Hendersonville, Tennessee. It’s about a 4 year old girl named Henley. She finds comfort in her own stuffed animal collection. She wanted to share that comfort with those who lost so much from Hurricane Helene in parts of East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. Henley’s father Alex, says that her stuffed animals always calm her down…especially if she’s having a challenging day. Henley was thinking of all the young boys and girls who may have lost their stuffies during the hurricane.

She donated 30 of her own to affected kids. Henley’s mother posted her daughter’s good deed on FB. So many people in her hometown reached out to her and asked if they can donate stuffed animals too. The response was overwhelming. Henley, was diagnosed with autism a couple of years ago, and, according to her parents: to see her leading this effort is truly amazing and nothing short of joyful.
