Police are investigating a fatal collision on Oliver Road.
City police officers were sent to the west side of the roadway across the expressway just after 8:00 on Thursday morning.
When they arrived they found a vehicle had collided with a school bus, and the section of road was closed.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The bus was carrying children at the time, but no other injuries were reported.
The road is expected to re-open at some point this afternoon, and motorists are asked to avoid the area until that time.
The Traffic Unit and Forensic Identification Unit are involved in the ongoing investigation.
