The Paris 2024 Summer Olympics closed last night. AND, what a way to end the games…..with TOM CRUISE!
There were rumours last week that Mr. Cruise would make some type of an appearance….and he sure did. Tom swooped into the Paris Olympics in a spectacular stunt straight out of Mission Impossible. Tom came swinging down from atop Stade de France before touching down on the stadium’s field.
He took the Olympic Flag….then jumped on a motorbike and cruised out of the stadium passing landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and then rode onto a waiting airplane. Then, he put on skydiving gear and leaped from the plane and headed to the iconic Hollywood sign, where he turned the “O”s into Olympic rings before passing the flag off to Olympic cyclist Kate Courtney who handed it off to other athletes.
The flag was finally brought to a Southern California beach, where one of LA’s biggest bands, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, performed. Next, LA artists Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre performed setting the tone for LA 2028!
