At least one person has died in a motor vehicle collision east of Nipigon.
Ontario Provincial Police says a transport was involved in the incident that occurred just before 5 a.m. Friday morning on the Trans-Canada Highway at Cavers Hill.
A person was pronounced dead.
The highway was closed for most of the day Friday.
It was reopened to a single lane shortly after 5 p.m., and fully open two hours later.
The OPP’s North West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team and collision re-constructionists are assisting in the investigation.
