Border Cats open season with a win

The Thunder Bay Border Cats opened the regular season in the Northwoods League with a win.

The Border Cats are on the road and topped the Rochester Honkers 6-1 at Mayo Field.

Tyrus Riley got the start for the Border Cats.

This is a two game series, with game two going tonight.

The Border Cats open their home schedule on Friday at Port Arthur Stadium against the Minnesota Mud Puppies.
