Mississauga resident facing charges following drug bust

A Mississauga resident is in custody following a drug bust in Thunder Bay.

On Tuesday an Ontario Provincial Police-led team executed a search warrant on Detroit Avenue.

More than 22 grams of fentanyl, approximately 60 grams of cocaine, 30 oxycodone pills, roughly $4,000 Canadian currency, and drug trafficking paraphernalia were seized.

The accused a 27-year-old from Mississauga is facing multiple charges including:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking in (crack) cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking in fentanyl
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking in oxycodone
  • Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000
