Police in Thunder Bay investigate after man held for days against his will

The Thunder Bay Police Service is investigating a forcible confinement incident.

On Monday officers were sent to Andras Court on Cumberland Street South just after 6:00 p.m.

Officers located a man who was a victim of an assault and had been held against his will for days.

The man was transported to hospital and has since been treated and released.

Multiple suspects have been identified, and city police suspect the incident is related to drug trafficking activity in the city.

The investigation remains ongoing.
