Thunder Bay Police are investigating an assault on a student which took place at Hammarskjold High School yesterday.
Shortly after 1 p.m. officers were called to the school to a report of a 15 year old student being assaulted.
They were taken to hospital by Superior North EMS with minor injuries and to be evaluated as a precaution.
The Lakehead Public School Board has provided a statement on the incident:
“We are conducting a full investigation in accordance with the Education Act, as well as cooperating with the Thunder Bay Police Service to aid in their investigation.” – Lakehead Public Schools
No arrests or charges have been announced.
