R.I.P. Christine McVie 1943-2022

Some sad news today as we’ve learned that Christine McVie, keyboardist and co-lead singer for Fleetwood Mac has passed away today after a short illness. No details are known at this time other than she was surrounded by family when she passed. While many of us may hope that this was a hoax, like many others that have happened recently, McVie’s death was confirmed by the band on their social media pages this afternoon.

McVie joined Fleetwood Mac in 1970 and was a huge component of the bands rise to fame. Many of the songs she wrote were hits for the band, whether she sang them or not. Songs like ‘Say You Love Me’ (which McVie sang), Don’t Stop and Little Lies became big hits for the band and greatly contributed to Fleetwood Mac’s enduring popularity.

Our condolences to Ms. McVie’s family and friends.
