A 27-year-old male known to police has been arrested following an incident at Dollarama on Memorial Avenue Monday morning.
The man had threatened staff with a knife, just before 9:30 a.m., while attempting to leave the store with unpaid merchandise.
When police arrived they located the man nearby and discovered the accused had an outstanding warrant.
He faces the charges of:
• Armed Robbery • Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 2
The accused appeared in bail court Tuesday and has been remanded into custody.
