How icy is your deck?

After last weekend’s “ice storm” and this week’s snow………how’s your deck / patio?

I went to shovel my deck on Tuesday….and slipped twice. (LOL, all good though, no injuries). My deck is a sheet of ice. I don’t want to chip away at it, because that’ll ruin the wood. Here’s to hoping for a couple of mild days / and even a bit of sun please!!

I don’t think I’ve ever put salt down on my deck. So, the question is: have you “salted” your deck/patio? Is it safe to do that?
