An influx of cash is coming to the Matawa Training & Wellness Centre.
Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Steve Clark, was in Thunder Bay to announce that $2.1 million is being invested to help build 21 transitional housing units at the Matawa Training & Wellness Centre.
The building is in the process of being upgraded and renovated after it was originally a long term care home in a previous life.
Program coordinators expect to start taking in clients and families in abut six months.
