Day 2 for BACK TO SCHOOL. So…do you think students will be in class until June?

From this morning’s show:

A lot of conversation has turned to this school year, being the first full year without any Covid restrictions. Late Fall / Winter may change that. We’ll have to wait and see.

Mask are now an option for students. It’s not a requirement.

On Tuesday, Ontario’s Education Minister STEPHEN LECCE was quoted as saying, “our health and safety protocols have been designed by the chief medical officer of health to avoid disruption and keep students in person – learning”…and then went on to say, “I assure you – kids are going to stay in school…right to June

The plan by the Ontario gov’t is: if there’s a serious rise in Covid cases, it’ll be the up to the local Health Units to make a decision. This is the first time since March of 2020 that kids are back in class without any restrictions.

Thoughts?
