Police have arrested a local man on child porn charges.
An investigation started this summer after learning of a local internet user who was accessing child pornography.
An investigation revealed the suspicious content was consistent with child exploitation.
Thunder Bay Police brought a search warrant to a home near Sifton Avenue and Arthur Street at about 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31.
Digital content consistent with child pornography was located, and electronic devices were seized, as a result of this search.
The 61 year old local man appeared in bail court on Thursday, Sept. 1 and was released with conditions and a future appearance date.
