OPP Remind Motorists to Renew Your Plates

Some motorists could be facing $110 fines.

You may be driving around in your vehicle without your licence plates being renewed.

The province eliminated the fees to renew the plates and licence plate stickers for most vehicles in March.

Vehicle owners are still required to renew their licence plate every one or two years to confirm their automobile insurance is valid and pay any outstanding fines.

OPP says driving with outdated plates can lead to a fine.
