Country On The Bay Opens Thursday

It’s a show two and a half years in the making.

Country On The Bay begins at the Fort William Historical Park Thursday this weekend with a number of artists coming, including headliner Lee Brice.

The event was scheduled to happen at Marina Park in 2020 but it was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We decided to give this a try down at the Marina and try and put this together and it came together very well,” stated Rob Waloschuk, Co-Promoter of Country On The Bay. “We’re two and a half years later and a venue move because we couldn’t get the Marina. We’re excited, everything is coming together down here really well, it’s a beautiful site and we can’t wait to kick off this first festival.”

Waloschuk is also involved in Dauphin’s CountryFest, and added, “(Your ticket) can be on your phones or printed off, they will be scanned and you will get a wrist band on your way in. There is also a big will-call booth, so if you have any issues you can go there and get that straightened out. We’re all set up here and we think it will be great for everyone.”

The Lineup

  • Johnny Reid
  • Terri Clark
  • Brett Kissel
  • Hunter Brothers
  • Jade Eagleson
  • Jess Moskaluke
  • The Road Hammers
  • Gord Bamford
  • Aaron Pritchett

  • JoJo Mason

If you purchased tickets for the 2020 event they will be honoured.
