Thunder Bay Police looking for answers into an assault in the area of Court Street North and McVicar Street.
Officers got the call about an incident involving a weapon just after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday and set up a presence.
One man was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC) for further evaluation and treatment.
The extent of his injuries is unknown.
The scene has been released as Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units continue to investigate.
