Watch: Daughter of Honeymoon Suite Guitarist Rocks Out On American Idol

The boss brought this to my attention today. He claims that he watches the show because he likes Lionel Richie, I think it’s a crush on Katy Perry but that’s really neither here nor there! Leah Marlene has advanced to the Top 24 on American Idol this week and it seems she has a bit of musical heritage: She is the daughter of Honeymoon Suite guitarist Derry Grehan! She kicked some serious butt in her performance and Dad looked pretty darn proud! I’m a big fan of the artist Leah Marlene covers here (Larkin Poe) and she definitely more than does the song justice!
