Minimum wage earners in Ontario will see their pay cheques go up later this year.
The province is increasing the wage to $15.50/hour on October 1st.
The hike comes just months after it rose to $15 in January.
The province also removed the lower minimum wage for liquor servers.
The increase means workers earning the general minimum wage and working 40 hours per week will see their annual pay rise by $1,768.
Liquor servers who work 40 hours per week will see an annual raise of $5,512.
