A head-on collision has claimed the lives of two people, and sent a third to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC) for treatment.
The Nipigon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a crash at around 6:15 p.m. Monday on Highway 11 in Greenstone.
Thirty-three-year-old Brittany Lesperance of Lake Helen First Nation and 31-year-old Evan Lester of Rocky Bay First Nation were killed.
Highway 11 was closed for several hours before re opening at 4:10 a.m. Tuesday.
