Lakehead Board Unveils COVID-19 Changes For Monday

You can still wear a mask inside Lakehead Public Schools next week.

The board shared a letter with parents following the province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health’s announcement Wednesday that some COVID-19 requirements will be dropped following the March Break.

Masks are optional in any school or board facility and physical distancing will no longer be a requirement.

Visitors, including parents and guardians, can return to schools but will have to complete the screening before entering.

Students and staff should continue to use the daily screening tool and abide by the recommendations associated with completing the screen, including isolation requirements.
