SIJHL Returns To Play

The Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL) will return to game action on Friday, February 4th.

In a release Friday, Commissioner Darrin Nicholas said the Board of Governors also announced that the regular season will not be extended as a result of Ontario’s 27-day pause on many activities and sports, including hockey.

Additionally, the league is also postponing the Showcase event in Spooner Wisconsin. It will now be played from March 1-3 after originally being scheduled from February 8-10.

The chase for the Bill Salonen Cup will commence on Tuesday, March 29th.

The complete SIJHL schedule for the remainder of the regular season will be released in the coming days.
