Health Unit Changing COVID-19 Reporting

Daily case reporting will be no more as of January 24th.

In a release Friday, officials with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit unveiled changes to it’s COVID-19 Dashboard including a new graph which will display hospitalizations over time.

TBDHU will also differentiate between the data before and after the changes to testing eligibility on all existing graphs, for testing and cases over time, as the periods are not comparable.

New lab confirmed cases will be reported along with any outbreaks in long-term care homes, hospitals, and other congregate living settings, including correctional facilities and shelters.

The dashboard will only be updated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
