Today’s the day that minum wage sees a huge increase.
The Ford government promised the increase in November 2021, and Jan.1 2022 it goes into effect.
General minimum wage goes from $14.35 to $15 an hour.
Student minimums go from $13.50 to $14.10 an hour.
Food service and hospitality workers and now at the same rate as general minimum wage of $15 an hour.
