22 New Cases In Thunder Bay District

A double-digit weekend of COVID-19 cases in the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

22 new ones reported Monday with ten cases obtained from someone else who had the virus and five picked up from travel outside of Northwestern Ontario.

With 16 more resolved, the active case count is 63.

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre has four of seven patients being treated for COVID-19 in the Intensive Care Unit.

In Ontario 3,784 new cases of COVID-19 with 865 emerging from individuals who are not fully vaccinated and 138 cases from those with an unknown vaccination status.
