C. Difficile Outbreak Declared At St. Joe’s

The assessment continues into a C. Difficile outbreak at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Officials with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit say it’s restricted to the Hospice/Palliative Care unit (4 North).

Admissions/discharges and transfers are temporarily on-hold and while visitors are not limited, you should check-in at the nursing station upon arrival.

Further measures will be taken as needed to manage this situation.
