Last Friday, marked the first day for 5 to 11 year old’s being able to get vaccinated. The Health Unit announced that over 2,000 children have appointments booked! Over 100,000 appointments scheduled provincially.

The financial, consumer website called Money.co, just ranked the top cities in the world to move to. No, Thunder Bay isn’t on the list. Three Canadian cities did: Calgary, Toronto and Montreal. The list factored in things like “average annual temperature and precipitation”, the number of green spaces, restaurants, life expectancy, wages and even internet speed. The top 3 cities in the world to move to: Austin, Texas / Tokyo / and Charleston, South Carolina.

If you’re a fan of the soap GENERAL HOSPITAL, you know the character “Jason Morgan”. He’s played by actor Steve Burton. Steve announced that he was fired from the show last week. He says he was let go because he refused to get vaccinated. Burton applied for both ‘medical and religious exemptions’ and was denied. He’s been on the soap since ‘92, and hopes he can come back to the show.
