Outbreak Declared At St. Ann

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is confirming another COVID-19 outbreak at a local school.

This comes as a total of five individuals associated with St. Ann School have tested positive for the virus.

An investigation has shown at least one of these people contracted COVID-19 in a school setting.

Classes and cohorts impacted by this have been dismissed, and anyone who may have been exposed has been contacted by public health.

St. Ann remains open at this time and an investigation into the situation will continue.

There are four active cases for COVID-19 within the Lakehead Public School Board while there are now over 30 in the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
