Raising $80,350 though the annual Smile Cookie campaign.
The local Tim Hortons restaurant owners collected the money this year, which will be shared between the George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation and Toys for Tots Thunder Bay.
The funds will help support specialized children’s care at George Jeffrey and work to ensure children in need receive gifts over the holiday season through Toys for Tots.
This is the fourth year both charities have been supported through this campaign, which raised more than $10.6 across the country in 2020.
