Drop To 14 Active Cases

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is reporting six new cases of COVID-19.

With eight resolved in Monday’s report, the active count now sits at 14. Three of the new cases are being reported in First Nation communities.

Provincially there are 422 new cases of the virus, 261 in individuals that are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.

161 are in people who have had both doses of a Health Canada approved vaccine.

As of Monday 88.2 per cent of Ontarians 12 and up have had at least one dose of the vaccine while 84.5 per cent are fully vaccinated.
