HAPPY HALLOWEEN! It’s a special Halloween edition of girls night out! This week we talked about the top costumes in Canada are, we have some Halloween trivia and of course we have our cocktail, recipe, tv show and food for thought of the week that are all Halloween themed.
KELLY & CAIRO’S FOOD FOR THOUGHT
The original name for candy corn was chicken feed
COCKTAIL OF THE WEEK: POISON APPLE COCKTAIL
Ingredients:
⅓ cup apple cider
⅓ cup Cranberry juice
2oz fireball
1oz grenadine
¼ tsp edible gold glitter
Directions:
Put all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Serve and enjoy.
RECIPE OF THE WEEK: PUMPKIN PATCH BROWNIES
INGREDIENTS:
Your choice of brownie mix or homemade brownie recipe
Pumpkin candies
Green icing
Oreos
Directions:
Make the brownies and while those are baking crush up the Oreos. Once the brownies have cooled, put the crushed Oreos on the brownies to make the dirt of the pumpkin patch. Put on the pumpkin brownies and then use the green icing to make the vines.
