Variant Case Identified In Thunder Bay

Two new infections related to COVID-19, including one that is a variant.

Of the new cases identified Wednesday, all were obtained through travel outside of Northwestern Ontario.

Five is the active case count as a previously reported case has been removed.

In Ontario 495 new cases, 380 from those who are unvaccinated or with an unknown vaccination status.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
