Active Case Count Now 14

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit records two new cases of COVID-19.

Both of the cases Friday were a result of travel outside of Northwestern Ontario.

With one resolved case, the active count sits at 14.

There are currently two people hospitalized with the virus, with one person in the ICU.

We will update provincial numbers when they become available.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
