Canada’s Colourful New Toonie

Starting today The Royal Canadian Mint has a brand new Toonie that you will be able to find in a bunch of different colours to celebrate the discovery of insulin. This year marks 100 years since the breakthrough was made by Sir Frederick G Banting, Charles H Best, JJR Macleod, and James B Collip back in 1921. The Toonie will come in two different versions one that is coloured and one without.
