I’m pretty adventurous when it comes to food. This wasn’t always the case, but as I’ve grown older I’ve become more willing to try things out. There are certain things I have no interest in going out of my way to try, mostly organ meats which I am told are delicious but I have my reservations. Sometimes though, I’ll see a flavour combination or idea come up that just makes me shudder with revulsion. The announcement of Kraft Dinner teaming up with an ice cream shop in Brooklyn, NY, was one of those ideas that just made my stomach churn. Mac & Cheese flavoured ice cream? Hard Pass!
Tomorrow (July 14th) is National Ice Cream Day, and it’s going to be pretty warm here in Thunder Bay. I think I’ll stick to a peanut butter/chocolate combo to celebrate with!
