Get Your COVID-19 Vaccine In The Car

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is starting up drive-through vaccination clinics on the CLE Grounds.

Individuals with mobility challenges or who require a sensory-friendly experience can now secure a spot to get their first or second dose.

Who’s Eligible

  • Those 12 years and older and need a first dose (Note: this age bracket needs to select a clinic where the Pfizer vaccine is given)
  • If you’re 12 and up and received your first dose at least 28 days before the second dose appointment date
  • If you had AstraZeneca as the first dose and at least eight weeks has passed

The health unit asks you to not show up early and complete the COVID-19 online screening tool for you and any people accompanying you within 24 hours of your appointment.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
