Thunder Bay Regional Shifting Pandemic Response

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is moving it’s Internal Pandemic Responsive Level from Orange (Restrict) to Yellow (Protect).

Officials said Monday the shift is possible thanks to rising vaccination numbers and a decline in COVID-19 cases in Thunder Bay.

The Health Sciences Centre can reduce restrictions on both learners and volunteers as well as some external partners with the response level now at Yellow.

As of Tuesday, July 6 at 6:00 a.m. visitors will no longer be asked about travel outside of Northwestern Ontario.

There is only one patient admitted for a positive COVID-19 test with no more patients in the Intensive Care Unit.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
