A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a vehicle on Highway 6.
Provincial Police in Manitoulin say it happened north of the bridge in Espanola.
They were called there just before 1 o’clock Saturday morning for reports of someone walking on the road along the highway.
Police found the victim dead in the southbound lane, and are now looking for the vehicle that was involved.
Officers want to hear from any witnesses who can help their investigation.
