The active COVID-19 case count continues to decline.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is dealing with 47 ongoing cases with four new ones confirmed Friday and three others that could be one of the variants of coronavirus.
All four cases were obtained from someone else who had COVID-19 while three of the cases are from First Nation communities.
The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre reports that four of the thirteen patients that they are treating for COVID-19 are in the Intensive Care Unit.
